"Buddleia smiled as she finished fussing with the last of the decorations and stepped back to study the result. She had been put in charge of the decoration, as she would be in charge of the activities that night. Even she wouldn’t know who her mistresses were at the party that night and she was enjoying the thought. She had been given a few instructions, different activities that were to take place, but most had been left to her. She hadn’t seen her mistresses or any of their guests for the better part of the day and she knew that the sisters wouldn’t see each other.
